LFC Atlanta Fantasy Football: Week One

LFC ATLANTA FANTASY FOOTBALL: WEEK ONE
"What do you mean, I only have two wild cards?"

It's always good to come away from a match with three points and a clean sheet (especially Stoke away), and even moreso if you've got any of our Reds in your back line. All of our defenders and keeper won points for keeping a clean sheet, with Big Joey Gomez picking up eleven big ones thanks to his assist for Coutinho's goal. Speaking of which, our Brazilian Magical Unicorn picked up ten points with his magnificent thunderbastard of a goal which sends us on to next week at Anfield three points to the better.

Around the Prem, the biggest point earners were found at Man City with Kompany and Yaya Toure, and Leicester City (!) with Albrighton and Riyad Mahrez. Very early days still, but LCFC may have some players which represent good value for your transfer pound. Asmir Begovic will see a bit of action in goal for the Chavs, and Arsene Wenger is on the phone with Barclays trying to stop payment on a Cech.

In the opening week of the FPL, LFC Atlanta managers bested the global points average, with an average of 35.377 points compared to the worldwide average of 34. We've got 128 people signed up so far, which is a terrific number for our club, and we'll have more joining as the season progresses.

We will have free LFC Atlanta stuff for the league winner every month, and prizes at season's end as well.
